Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a new colleague to join our Human Resources Team on a full-time basis /40 hour a week starting as soon as possible.

Your challenge:
 
As the Head of HR Operations, you will work closely with our HR Director and play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy, driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement and optimizing HR processes. This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for people, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to create a culture where employees thrive. You will ensure the delivery of outstanding HR shared services for all internal and external stakeholders, continuously improving processes to provide efficient, reliable, and high-quality operational support that meets the needs of the organization and its employees.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead the HR shared services team at GGG: Establish and scale an efficient, high-performing HR shared services function that delivers exceptional support, ensuring rapid growth while maintaining quality and operational excellence
  • Policy Development: Create, update, and communicate internal and external HR policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect current labor laws and best practices
  • Employer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with employees and management through excellent service and act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters and addressing any employee concerns effectively
  • Labor Law Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations, managing any audits or legal inquiries as they arise
  • Improve our Data Analysis & Reporting: HR metrics related to compensation, benefits, and employee satisfaction to inform strategic decisions and improve HR services
  • Change Management: Support initiatives related to organizational change, ensuring that all processes are communicated clearly and effectively to employees
  • Flexibility and Support: Act as a "go-to" resource within the HR department, providing support wherever needed, particularly in high-demand situations or during critical projects to ensure smooth operations across all HR functions
Your profile
Qualifications:
  • Completed degree in Business, Psychology, Labor Law, or a related field, ideally with a focus on HR
  • Several years of professional experience (minimum 7 years) in a responsible HR position, ideally in a dynamic international corporate environment
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law, payroll processing, and HR best practices
  • Experience in team leadership and management of HR processes
  • Excellent communication skills, along with a high level of empathy and assertiveness
  • Hands-on mentality and the ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements and tasks
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to identify inefficiencies in HR processes and implement solutions
  • Fluent in both German and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Outstanding negotiation skills, particularly in fostering constructive dialogue during labor relations and contract negotiations
  • Proven ability to manage HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and achieving measurable results through defined performance indicators 
  • Skills in managing HR aspects during times of crisis or organizational change, including restructuring or mergers
  • Familiarity with implementing and managing HR technology platforms
