We are delighted to be working in partnership with a long standing client located in Glasgow City Centre who are looking to recruit a strong Administrator / HR Assistant to join them on a full time basis, please note this role is a 6 month fixed term contract.

This is a brilliant opportunity for a professional, positive proactive and organised individual who offers strong administration or HR experience who has worked within the professional services sector and supporting a variety of key stakeholders.

Our client is able to offer hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office and a salary up to £30k per annum.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Support with all generalist HR administration tasks
  • Monthly pension administration
  • Support with graduate recruitment and summer placement processes
  • Tracking application forms and scheduling interviews
  • Attending recruitment fairs
  • Assist with any HR projects
  • Produce HR reporting to the wider business
  • Support the payroll department with any changes
  • Managing all recruitment activities
  • Liaising with agencies, drafting job descriptions and adverts
  • Participate in shortlisting candidates
  • Filing and tracking applications
  • Organising interviews
  • Coordinating and developing induction schedules
  • Running inductions for new starters to the business
  • Update the company website with vacancies
  • Updating and managing the HR system
  • Processing of invoices
  • Supporting with all Training activities
  • Liaise closely with training providers
  • Book training courses, rooms and ordering of refreshments
  • Coordinate and circulate training materials
  • Circulate course feedback
  • Arranging payment of invoices
  • Update CPD trackers and HR systems
  • Circulating training emails

To be considered for this opportunity, our client does require the following experience /background:

  • Previous experience working within a HR department or strong Administration experience working within the professional services sector
  • Background support senior management & key stakeholders
  • Experience managing a wide variety of administrative tasks
  • Extremely professional and presentable at all times
  • Naturally positive, proactive and the willingness to take on tasks and work part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to think on your feet and use initiative
  • Proactive and ensure tasks are completed before being asked
  • Strong work ethic with high standards at all times
  • Ability to work under pressure and juggle a variety of tasks
  • Strong IT Skills and ability to use different systems including MS Office, Intranet
  • Ability to work independently
  • Willingness to be flexible and proactive
