We are looking for a highly organised and proactive HR Manager to join our friendly HR team on a fixed term basis until February 2026 to cover for a period of maternity leave. Reporting into the UK HR Director, this is a truly generalist role where you will be involved in the full employee lifecycle and the opportunity to manage global HR projects. Working in a team of 4 including an HR Administrator, HR Advisor, and UK HR Director, and alongside our global HR counterparts based in the US, plus our in-house Talent team, this is a busy and varied role in a fast-paced environment with lots of opportunities for development.

This position can be offered as either fully remote within the UK (with a requirement to work in our London offices 1 day per month) or hybrid (working 3 days per week in our London office and 2 days at home).

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading a mentoring a small HR team (HR Advisor and HR Administrator) to deliver day-to-day operational excellence
  • Working closely with the UK HR Director on the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation, including employee engagement, DE&I and workforce planning
  • Delegating tasks effectively within the HR team and monitor progress to ensure timely completion of objectives and projects
  • Implementing global HR initiatives in collaboration with the US-based HR team, including but not limited to inductions, performance reviews, onboarding, training, etc.
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of training activities by collecting feedback, analysing data and producing recommendations for improvement
  • Acting as a trusted partner to mid-level and senior stakeholders to provide strategic and operational HR guidance and coaching
  • Ensuring compliance with UK employment laws and company policies
  • Managing mid-level to complex employee relations cases, including investigations
  • Oversee and maintain HiBob, ensuring it is up-to-date and optimised to support business needs.
  • Drafting new and reviewing existing policies to ensure they remain suitable for the company’s needs and meet employment legislation.
  • Supporting the Talent team during busy periods in recruiting efforts.
  • Working closely with colleagues in the US and Vietnam to ensure HR processes are aligned globally and global initiatives are implemented effectively in each region

Experience / skills required

  • Experience working at HR Manager level, or equivalent, ideally within the marketing/creative industry or other professional services company
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
  • Good problem-solving abilities and a high standard of attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • Experience of using an HRIS, HiBob would be advantageous but not essential
  • A positive attitude and self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent knowledge UK employment legislation
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise own workload
  • Experience in analysing and interpreting data to help drive decision-making
  • Demonstrable experience in implementing HR initiatives and change management.
