We currently have an opportunity for a newly created position of Head of HRIS and People Analytics to join our global HR team reporting to our CHRO.  In this role you’ll have responsibility for a small team of HRIS professionals, servicing our global business but based in Cheltenham in the UK.  The successful candidate will lead the strategy, implementation and optimisation of HR technology solutions and data driven insights. You will ensure that HR systems meet the organisation’s needs as we grow and scale, enhance employee and manager experience alike and support workforce planning, talent development and recruitment.  You will be adept in using people analytics to shape HR strategy, improve decision making and drive better business outcomes. 

Role:

  • Partnering with business stakeholders and the HR and IT community you’ll:
    • Develop and execute the HRIS strategy to align with organisational goals
    • Oversee the optimisation of HR technology systems (Workday)
    • Ensure HR systems integrate seamlessly with other applications to provide a high quality user experience
    • Drive process automation and efficiency improvements through system enhancements, system integration and develop approach to AI and RPA use across HR (in partnership with IT)
    • Ensure compliance with data security, privacy and regulatory requirements
  • Build and lead people analytics capability to:
    • Generate actionable workforce insights
    • Define metrics and key performance indicators to measure HR and business effectiveness
    • Design and deliver dashboards and reporting tools for leadership and HR teams (ideally Power BI)
    • Define approach for utilisation of advanced analytics, predictive modelling to forecast workforce trends and support strategic planning
    • Drive a culture of data-driven decision making within HR and across the organisation
  • Lead the team and engage with key stakeholders to:
    • Foster a culture of innovation and excellence
    • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT and Operations to align systems and analytics priorities with broader business objectives
    • Partner with the HR teams to ensure data integrity and system adoption
    • Manage the overall HRIS budget and account manage 3rd party supplier relationships
  • Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation by:
    • Identifying opportunities to improve employee experience and HR operational efficiency through new tools and solutions
    • Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies such as AI, RPA and chatbots within HR systems

To be successful in this role you'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related IT or Data Science field.
  • Demonstrable experience in HRIS, workforce analytics or related role including leadership experience
  • Proved experience managing enterprise systems like Workday
  • Deep understanding of HR processes, employee lifecycle and organisational structures
  • Expertise in data analytics, visualisation tools such as Power BI with the capability to translate complex data into meaningful insights
  • Strong knowledge of data governance, compliance and security regulations (i.e. GDPR, SOX compliance)
  • Demonstrable track record of managing projects to budget and on time
  • Excellent leadership, communication and change management abilities
  • An ability to work flexibly to effectively support stakeholders including those across differing time zones when necessary.
