POSITION OVERVIEW/KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

The Human Resources Manager will execute the essential areas of human resources, covering but not limited to: Recruiting activities, benefits, data integrity in all HRIS systems, time keeping, safety programs and worker compensation, new hire orientation, government regulations and compliance, and other assigned tasks as needed. This is a key role supporting the site General Manager and members of the senior leadership team. This individual will report directly to the global Vice President of Human Resources for IDEX Health & Science and dotted line to the General Manager of the thinXXS business unit.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Operate as a strategic business partner to thinXXS General Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

  • Manage recruitment efforts for all positions.

  • Develop organizational talent retention and development plans.

  • Partner with local management team in employee engagement activities.

  • Support performance management initiatives and assist local leadership on progress of such activities.

  • Collaborate with leadership team on Organization Talent Cycle (OTC) and manage actions.

  • Provide and interpret HR guidelines and procedures as related to business unit and IDEX.

  • Administer IDEX and divisional initiatives in areas of training and development.

  • Responsible for monthly pay administration in cooperation with external Payroll provider.

  • Monitor the time keeping activity for all hourly employees in System (currently LOGA) and administer the necessary adjustments.

  • Monitor Data entry into HRM System (workday) for all Hourly and Salaried Employees

  • Responsible for data integrity in all HRIS and supportive systems.

  • Conduct thorough assessment of compensation and benefits comparable to local market and businesses.

  • Ensure compliance with German labor law and regulations and industry accepted standards.Β 

  • Conduct new hire orientation and enter new hires in the systems.

  • Enter training records in the system and maintain training records.

  • Partner with the safety officer and part of safety committee to help lead safety initiatives.

  • Privacy Lead for the legal entity thinXXS GmbH and support for external Data Privacy Officer (DPO)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equiv. with a minimum of 5 years of human resource experience.

  • Fluency with the German & English language, this includes speaking, reading and writing.

  • Solid knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations.

  • Flexibility to travel to United States (likely 1-2x per year).

  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications.

  • Experience maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Strong administrative skills.

  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience in mid-size organizations and international locations
