Human Resources Director DACH (Germany / Austria / Switzerland)

As HR business partner, optimize organizations and support change management plans, while being continuously engaged in the employee & manager experience.

We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead the strategic people development of our subsidiary in the TOP 4 countries.

You will oversee the accelerated transformation of the organizations, ensuring unity and consistency between the two Dermo consmetics and Pharmaceutical Businesses and collaborating closely with the local General Managers and department Heads.

You will partner with Finance, Operations, and Regulatory functions and be a part of the eHRLT (extended HR Leadership team), interacting with other TOP 4 HRBPs and Regional HRBPs.

This role is crucial for aligning the HR strategy with business objectives and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

The subsidiary has 500 staff and you will directly manage a team of 6 people.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement the Group HR roadmap and policies within the country, adapting them if necessary, and be responsible for the adoption of defined processes and HR programs (recruitment, performance, learning & development, talent review, C&B...).

  • Provide HR support and advice to the Leadership teams, managers, and employees within the scope, following the Group HR policies.

  • Listen to and influence leaders in their HR strategy for their business, support the company's economic performance alongside the business in its efforts to improve productivity and efficiency.

  • Actively contribute to the development of the Group HR roadmap in partnership with COEs (Centers of Expertise) and participate to the HR community by engaging in cross-functional projects and sharing best practices.

  • Support the professional development of employees within the scope, propose action plans to managers (internal mobility, skills development, performance recovery plan, people review...). Implement Talent retention actions.

  • Manage labor relationships, maintain a social constructive climate, and support managers on psychosocial risks.

  • Manage the budget and control associated costs (Headcount and Payroll), challenge and propose alternative solutions.

  • Analyze and manage HR performance indicators to improve overall organizational performance (absenteeism, turnover, social climate, recruitment timelines, etc.).

  • Lead and supervise the local HR team. Develop skills and manage performance, both individually and collectively.

Freiburg (where position is based), Allschwil (from Mai 2025 on Basel), Berlin (DCPC Academy/Office) - Vienna (DCPC)

KEY SKILLS

  • Level of education: bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of global HR experience preferably in the Pharma / Dermo-Cosmetics Industry
